the strawberry plants are rooting well, and getting ready for Spring.

  here are a few shots of the Blackberry rows with Strawberries growing between them.  The blackberries are trellised to make it easier on the picker.  With the canes pinned to the trellis a person can pick many pounds of fruit without getting any thorns in the fingers.  We do have one row of thornless blackberry plants but you will have a cow once you see the berries on thorny canes - unbelievable!  The trellis' are almost 6 feet tall and are covered with canes which should all have fruit on them next May.  That will be a wall of fruit!
